GOT CATTLE? DON’T BE CAUGHT WITHOUT A HAT (EVEN IF IT IS YOUR FIRST RODEO)
Choosing the right size plays a crucial role when it comes to a new hat, especially if you want to keep it on when life gets in the way!
If you don’t have the chance to be fitted by a custom hat shaper in person, which is recommended, calculating your hat size isn’t difficult. With a flexible measuring tape, start along the mid-line of your forehead and wrap the tape around your scalp approximately one inch above your earline. If you find yourself between two sizes, always go one size up. Having a helping hand may ensure accuracy! Alternatively, a piece of string may be marked and used in place of the measuring tape. Once you have an accurate string length, simply measure the piece and consult our sizing chart!
Tacchino Hats are true to size and are blocked with a regular formillon (a custom hat sizing tool). Due to the distinctive production process and the superior quality of the raw materials, Tacchino Hats adapt easily to your head shape when custom-fitted. If you notice that you have a long oval skull, round oval shape, or a unique cranial contouring, mention it to the person shaping your hat.
Fun fact: During the morning hours your head will always be a bit bigger due to your blood flow, but don’t worry, you didn’t get smarter overnight!
